ABOUT ME
My name is Sam and I am a qualified yoga teacher and passionate foodie living in Bramley, covering the Reading, Tadley and Aldermaston area. I am accredited by the Yoga Alliance Professionals and you can find out more about my classes on my yoga page including an option for 1-2-1 sessions.
So many of us are guilty of not putting ourselves first. With stressful jobs, busy lifestyles and unhealthy habits things can get on top of us. So, in a life full of chaos the Natural Nook is a little slice of something more wholesome - whether that is literally, or stretching out and taking some 'you' time. My aim is to help naturally nourish your mind, body and soul to help you feel better, live more and feel stronger.
As a yoga teacher I maintain continual professional development by through my own daily practice and continuing to train in new areas - which includes being a full trained pregnancy yoga teacher, qualifying with Yoga Mama in London, and CPDs in Yin and Restorative Yoga.
Yoga is for everyone, regardless of your flexibility or fitness level. Whether you are looking to tone up your muscles, build strength, increase your enegry levels, develop flexibilty, prevent injury or find some space and calm - taking to the mat is always a good idea.

And if you are wondering why I have the Natural Nook and Naturally Yoga as this page, the Natural Nook came first as my journey sort of started with food. I was always an avid yogi, but for a long time I didn't believe I was good enough to be a teacher and under the name Natural Nook I was supplying yummy vegan, gluten-free treats to Sam Rao's teaching school instead.
As I went on to become a teacher it felt only natural for me that the two combine. And if you want to taste some of this delicious food yourself keep an eye on any upcoming events under the booking section as I always cater my own events. There are some pictures at the bottom of this page to give you a sneak peak too.
